Malignant Tumors – Preoperatively one can see a large skin cancer, a basal cell carcinoma. The tumor was removed completely using the Moh´s technique with frozen section pathology to ensure complete removal of the tumor. The defect was repaired by first releasing the lateral portion of the eyelid and moving it toward the nose. The outer part of the eyelid was then reconstructed of periosteum (or bone lining) as well as skin flaps and muscle flaps.
