Full Mid-Face Cheek Lift

In the preoperative picture we see her severe ectropion of the lower eyelids (out turned eyelids) and chronically irritated, red eyes. Dr. McKinstry performed surgery including lateral canthoplasty in which the lower eyelids were tightened and resuspended at the outer corners, as well as a full mid-face cheek lift to elevate the cheeks and take the weight off the lower eyelids. The SOOF incision was hidden behind the eyelids. Postoperatively the eyelids were elevated to their normal preoperative position and the patient was very happy to have comfortable eyes once again.
